What we repair
When a band wears thin at the bottom and splits, we don't just solder the crack — we cut out the thin section and build new gold into the shank. The ring comes back stronger than before it broke, with a join you cannot find.
Fingers change with heat, age, pregnancy, and time — that's normal. We size most rings up or down, usually within a day. Rings with stones set all the way around need more care, and we'll tell you honestly what's possible before we start.
A stone almost never falls out without warning. If your stone moves when tapped, snags on clothing, or clouds over quickly, the setting is loose. Re-tipping a worn claw is a small, quick job. Replacing a lost stone is not.
Twenty-five years of daily wear removed in twenty minutes. We work through the scratches on the wheel and bring the gold up to a mirror finish — often while you wait.
Snapped chains closed invisibly. Failed clasps replaced, not the whole necklace. Earrings rebuilt, bangles soldered and reinforced, cloudy stones cleaned and reset. Most 'scrap' we're offered just needs an hour on the bench.
Don't pull harder, and don't cut it yourself. We cut the ring cleanly at a single point with a proper ring cutter, then solder and polish it back together so you cannot see where it was cut. You keep the ring.
Honest pricing
Nobody likes asking what something costs, so we tell you first. Most repairs cost a small fraction of replacing the piece — people who have been avoiding it for years are often surprised at how small.

Check your ring tonight
Hold the ring close to your ear and tap the stone gently. A faint click or any movement means the setting is already loose.
If the ring suddenly starts snagging on clothes, towels, or hair, a claw has likely lifted or worn thin.
A stone that clouds over quickly is letting dirt in underneath — there's now a gap where there was none.
If your ring is doing any of the three, have it checked. Re-tipping a worn claw is a small job. A lost stone with sentimental value cannot be replaced at all.
